MUSEUM OF RETRO COMPUTERS

Iakov khalip

I have been collecting vintage computers since 2006.

In September of 2001
Began to collect “classic computers”. Now there are about 50 working machines in the collection, made in 1981-2001. Mostly I have PC’s from IBM 5150 to PIII’s, some 1989-99 macs, Commodore Amiga 3000,
Some 8 bit machines, like Amstrad PCW 8256 and Commodore64. I like to use this machines for gaming and nostalgia. Also take them to expos, exhibitions and retro-events. Besides computers there is other old stuff, from cameras and guitars to kerosene lanterns. For me there’s no such thing as moral obsolescence. I don’t mind if something new and useful appears, I just don’t like when good old things and realities I used to disappear – that’s the motto of my collection.
BUILT TO LAST

Always felt charm of good old days, respected and liked the history of the past.
